Common rules for a healthy cohabitation.

The Guest of  Florence My Home are requested to follow the following rules and conditions during their stay, in the common respect and tolerance. My Home hopes that such rules are accepted by the guests as a sign of seriousness and professionality for the protection of reciprocal relationships.

The Bed & Breakfast is a private dwelling where guests are offered one or more bedrooms. 

Since the is a family structure, there is not an available reception all the hours of the day as there is in hotels, therefore the Guest House is requested to communicate in the booking form, to the owners,  the foreseen time of arrival. Arriving at the structure without having notified the arrival time could cause long waits. This mistake cannot be a reason for complaints or reimbursement.

1 – Check in e Check out:

Upon arrival (Check-in) each guest must present a valid identity document, for the registration as per the foreseen legal obligations and the balance of the agreed amount for the entire stay should be paid upon the handing over of the keys.

My Home is not obliged to accept credit cards and bancomat. Cheques are not accepted.

The Guest House has a common entrance with other guests and independent access to the bedrooms. Together with the room keys, upon arrival, you will be given the keys for the common door which should always be kept closed.

We ask you to look after the keys (and to return them when you leave), in case of loss we are obliged to debit you with

the cost of changing the door locks (€150.00 a forfeit).

It is not allowed to bring other people within our structure, apart from those who are regularly registered, unless you have our approval.

No minors will be accepted if they are not accompanied by their parents or legal tutor. The head of the family will guarantee for minors without an ID document.

2 – Time of
arrival and departure:

The rooms are available from 15:00 and should be freed by 10:00 of the next
day from the last night, in order to facilitate cleaning of the room and not to
cause inconvenience for the next guests. The time can be extended up to 

12:00 if no new arrivals are foreseen for the same day, after having made
arrangements with the owners.

 If no previous arrangements have been made and the client leaves with
a long delay the client will have to pay a 

“last check out” equal to 50% of the daily fee. Check-in must be before
21:00.

We advise you to give us an idea of your arrival time so that you do not
find yourselves waiting outside the structure.

Needs for different times from the above rules can be agreed beforehand
with the owners, in case of a marked delay or anticipated arrival with regards
to the time previously stated the presence of the structures personnel cannot
be guaranteed.

3 – Rates:

Rates include overnight stay, breakfast at the BAR Spot situated at about 100 meters from the Guest House. Services and bed linen and towels included in the rate, extra change of towels €4 per person.

Any extra change of sheets have an added cost of €15.00.

4 – Room cleaning:

The manager or authorized personnel may enter the bedrooms, if free, for
the daily clearing. If the rooms are occupied

at the time that cleaning is foreseen, the cleaning will not be done; we
therefore ask you to leave the bedroom and bathroom free and to put away
personal belongings in order to consent an effective cleaning. 

Any extra clearing of the
rooms will have an added cost of €20.00.

5 – Booking:

The request can be made using the booking form on the website or via email,
confirmation of the booking will be made by the owners.

Once you have received the
availability of the room, for longer stays a deposit equal to 30% of the due
total should be made using a bank transfer. Bank account details will be
provided by the managers. The booking is definitely confirmed upon receipt of a
copy of  the payment of the advance sum.

6 – Treatment of
registration data:

Details given will be treated in respect of the confidentiality and safety
obligations requested by current legislation, and will be treated exclusively
for the finalities concerning the business and will not be divulged.

7 – Animals:

It is possible to bring small sized animals prior to confirmation from the managers.

8 – Rules of
conduct:

Please respect silence from 14.00 to 16.00 and from  23.00 to 7.30. In
all cases a behaviour that does not disturb the tranquillity of others, in any
time of the day, should be maintained.

In our “My Home” smoking is forbidden.

The guest will indemnify any possible damages to furniture, electronic
systems of the structure and/or for improper use of the complementary
equipment. Those accompanying minors are responsible for them. 

9 – It is
prohibited to:

Allow children to use the electrical appliances, kettle, hair dryer and
similar.

It is forbidden to throw nappies and whatever could cause an obstruction in
the WC.

It is forbidden to wander around the Holiday Home with clothes that could offend
the pudor of others.

It is forbidden to throw any objects from the window.

10 – Guests’
obligations:

It is important to turn off the lights, television, air conditioner and
other appliances when going out of My Home.

11 – Maintenance
of the structure:

If necessary the owner or one of his representatives reserves the right to
carry out indispensable operations for urgent maintenance.

12 – Extra:

Any extras, drinks, food or service requested will be charged at the end
of the stay.

13 – Wifi:

In our Guest House the Internet link is free, if the guest requires the
manager will provide the access password.

14 –
Recommendations:

Guests are requested to look after their belongings in as much as the
owners of My Home are not responsible for their custody. Guests are invited
to close the entrance door and to look after the keys.

The management declines any responsibility in case of loss or theft of
objects of whatever value left inside the Guest House.

Thefts or intentional damages will be immediately reported to the competent
Authorities.

15 – Safeguarding of personal data:

In accordance to the law 675/98 regarding privacy protection and processing
of personal data, the handling of data respects the rules of confidentiality
and security foreseen by law.

16 –
Subscription:

When confirming the booking the client explicitly declares to have read and accepted the general conditions.

The respect of the rules is obligatory. 

Florence My Home reserves the right to immediately terminate the accommodation contract in case of the lack of respect of one or more regulations.

The guest is obliged to pay for the entire duration of the booked stay.

We remain at your disposal for any other necessity, it will be our concern to try to satisfy your requests.
